Live Music

Photographing live music has never just been about documenting a performance for me. It’s about capturing the energy… the chaos, the tension, the moments that disappear as quickly as they happen. That’s what pulls me in. That’s what I chase.

I’m naturally drawn to black and white. Strip away the distractions and what’s left is what matters… emotion, movement, connection. No noise, no gimmicks. Just the raw truth of the moment.

I take a lot of inspiration from traditional film. The grain, the texture, the imperfections… they give an image weight and character. Using strong contrast and monochromatic tones, I focus on revealing the artist as they really are. Not just the performance, but the intensity, the vulnerability, and those quieter moments in between.

Because the best images aren’t about what happened on stage… they’re about what it felt like to be there. Each frame stands on its own, capturing the rhythm, the atmosphere and the soul of the music long after the final note has gone.
